About PYTR

The idea of styling using luxury and artisan scarves started off in Istanbul of Turkey. Peter and Kylee met in August of 2020 where they both started their new chapters in the city of cats. It only took a single day when these two became close and Peter started styling Kylee with his aesthetics. By fall, Peter decided to make custom made scarves for these styling as well as for himself and in November 2020, PYTR was founded.  Peter chose these letters that resemble his name. He believes that this brand name carries a weight of luxury and sophistication. 

The whole company concept is inspired by timeless luxury scarves and Peter as the artist behind the artisan designs of his travel and world view. At the end of November 2020, PYTR first collection was soft launched at PYTR's first studio in Peter's residence in Selenium Panorama tower. The success of the first collected triggered PYTR's first Winter-Spring runway show in Istanbul the following year with 2021 collection. In 2022, PYTR relocated to Frankfurt and launched 2 more collections. PYTR is relocating again, but this time to the city of love, the capital of silk scarves, to Paris.

About Author

Peter Jamal is specialised in Biology, Chemistry, and ESS of the IB curriculum. He is an IB workshop leader for these subjects and has conducted a number of workshops in Europe and in Asia Pacific. In addition to this professional side, Peter is an active tennis player and the Founder & Creative Director of PYTR brand, the main sponsor of this website. Peter enjoys drawing and painting during his leisure time and turn these art pieces into fashion.
